Description
The 2019 Taken Chardonnay boast a beautiful nose of spice, citrus and lemon blossom. On the palate, Asian pear, grapefruit and Gravenstein apple are rounded out with hints of butterscotch and walnut. The mouthfeel is juicy, though not too heavy, with an uplifting, refreshing, crisp finish. Bright Napa Valley acidity is balanced out with creaminess coming from a splash of Sonoma fruit.
Producer Description
Raised in the small, winegrowing town of St. Helena, in Napa Valley, wine is in our DNA. We realized our mutual dream when we began producing wine, breaking away from our winemaking families, and developing ideas to craft a unique identity for ourselves. As we approached the completion of our college degrees, our passion for wine and business was evident. The Taken Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was our first wine created, released in 2010. Each succeeding vintage represents another step we have “taken” on this journey. We have now established a timeless, fun-spirited, wordplay venture to call our own. Whether taken, complicated, or available, we hope you enjoy our wines!
To enjoy this wine, simply open the bottle and pour it into a wine glass. Let it breathe for a few minutes to enhance the flavors. Store the remaining wine in a cool, dark place. Remember, this is a dry wine, so it pairs well with a variety of foods like grilled chicken, seafood, and light pasta dishes. Don’t drink it if you’re allergic to sulfites or have certain medical conditions that restrict alcohol consumption. Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight to maintain its quality.
