Producer Description
Stoller Vineyards and Winery is a world-class winery making use of the latest in environmental technology, balanced by our sustainable farming practices. Our solar-generating, gravity-flow winery is the first in the USA to have attained a Gold level LEED certification for its design and construction. Stoller Vineyards is a 373-acre parcel located on the southern slopes of the Dundee Hills in Yamhill County, Oregon. A turkey farm from the 1940s through the 1980s, the first 10 acres of Chardonnay and 10 acres of Pinot Noir were planted in 1995.The vineyard now has 176 acres under vine, the majority of which is planted to Pinot Noir.
To enjoy this Pinot Noir, simply open the bottle and let it breathe for a bit if you prefer a more developed flavor. Pour it into a wine glass and savor the rich, earthy notes along with the hints of sandalwood, bramble, and black cherry on the nose. When tasting, notice how the fine-grain tannins enhance the vibrant red fruit flavors that last through the finish. As it’s a sustainable product, you can feel good about enjoying it. Just keep it stored in a cool, dark place to maintain its quality. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
