SIA Scotch Whisky is a blend of selected whiskies from the Speyside, Highland, Lowlands and Islay regions of Scotland. One of the lead malts used in the blend is Teaninich. Teaninich is a very historic distillery in the Highland region dating back over 200 years–produces malt whisky of a light highland style–citrus fruit, fresh, accessible.
For maturing the whisky we use a combination of refill American oak (Bourbon) and first-fill American oak (Bourbon). The first fill casks add the vanilla sweetness to the blend and caramel notes.
The refill casks gently mature the whisky allowing the distillery flavors to shine through. SIA awakens the nose with citrus and spice and opens the palate with a hint of smoky vanilla. The finish is long, smooth and refreshing with hints of hazelnut and toffee.
Color: Rich honey gold
Nose: Vanilla and caramel
Finish: Smooth finish, with just a hint of smoke
To enjoy SIA Blended Scotch Whisky, simply pour it into a glass and let it breathe for a moment. Take a sniff to appreciate the vanilla and caramel notes on the nose. Sip slowly to experience the citrus and spice on the palate, followed by a smooth finish with hints of hazelnut and toffee. Store the whisky in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Avoid shaking the bottle vigorously. When pouring, be careful not to let the whisky touch the rim of the glass to prevent any unwanted flavors. This whisky is best savored neat or with a few drops of water to enhance the flavors.
