To cook Shan Premium Quality Kernel Himalayan Basmati Rice, simply measure the desired amount according to your needs. Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water until the water runs clear. Then, add the appropriate amount of water (usually about 1.5 to 2 times the volume of the rice) to a pot. Bring the water to a boil, add the rinsed rice, and reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let it simmer gently for about 15 – 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Make sure to fluff the rice with a fork after cooking.
