Brand Description
To make their Gran Reservas, Marqués de Riscal use grapes from old vines over 80 years’ old, either from own estate vineyards. The wine destined for making the Gran Reserva is set aside after the final coupages and passes into French oak barrels where it will spend between two and a half and three years, plus another three years rounding off in the bottle before release for sale.
To enjoy this Marqués De Riscal Rioja Gran Reserva wine, simply open the bottle carefully. Pour it into a suitable wine glass, allowing it to breathe for a while if you prefer. You can drink it on its own as a wonderful treat or pair it with a variety of delicious foods like grilled meats, rich cheeses, or flavorful pastas. Just make sure to store the wine in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Keep it upright when not in use to prevent the cork from drying out. And always handle the bottle with care to avoid any damage.
