Melissa’s Dried Julienne Tomato Strips have an intense flavor and a chewy texture. Harvested each year in the summer months, these tomatoes are pre-washed, cut Julienne style and the stems are removed.

The tomatoes are then dried by wood heat for 24 hours. It takes approximately 7 lbs. of fresh to make 1 lb. of dried tomatoes. Enjoy them directly out of the bag, blanch them and substitute in a favorite tomato recipe.

Store in cool dry place.

1 ounce of reconstituted dried tomatoes equals 4 ounces of fresh tomatoes.
