Also known as tallow, when left to simmer on the stove top for 1 hour, our beef suet can be rendered down to create tallow, and it can be used in recipes that call for shortening. It makes for excellent pan grease to cook with, and is a popular ingredient in Haggis and Windsor pudding.
Like all of our products, our beef suet Black Angus Beef is completely antibiotic and hormone free and 100% grass fed. Our beef suet is from 100% grass fed Black Angus beef. Each package of beef suet is quickly flash frozen and vacuum packed.
Please note we have switched from a block format to a pellet format for easy rendering.
We work with farms that only produce the cleanest, healthiest and ethically raised local meats. All beef is Federally or Provincially Inspected according to Canadian Food Inspection standards.
