One of Seven Stills’ few perennials, the plush Eight Pounds Per BBL leans into the widely popular non-bitter hazy IPA style, banking on muted fleshy stone fruit, ripe gold cantaloupe and subtle guava notes to appeal to the fresh beer-seeking masses.
imperial stout serves as the base of a corresponding whiskey called the Czar, but the beer leads its own charge in lower ABV form. The smell of burnt coffee grounds softens into bittersweet dark chocolate, but no cloying sugar lingers; the beer dries out on the backend, leaving just a tinge of unsweetened cacao behind.
To enjoy this product, simply pour it into a glass. Keep it stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid shaking the bottle vigorously. Note that it contains alcohol, so consume responsibly. There are no specific maintenance requirements other than proper storage.
