The Rich blend is comprised of Pinot Noir (45%), the main pillar of Veuve Clicquot’s winemaking, which gives the champagne its fundamental structure. A large part of Meunier (40%) provides roundness to the blend and Chardonnay (15%) completes it with extra freshness. For Rich Rosé, the blend is completed with 15% Pinot Noir red wine.
Rich’s uniqueness is in its dosage of 60 g/L, which enhances the blend’s aromas. As Veuve Clicquot’s Cellar Master shares, “Sugar in champagne is like spices in a recipe: used correctly it can bring out specific aromas and play with flavors.
The fruit aromas in Veuve Clicquot RICH and RICH ROSÉ have been boosted to sensational new levels. Veuve Clicquot’s signature Pinot Noir is given a new versatility with the higher dosage, while the greater presence of Meunier emphasizes fresh, fruity, gourmand notes.
Veuve Clicquot collaborated with skilled mixologists to select the perfect ingredients to naturally enhance the wines’ flavors while adding a unique twist. The signature notes in Veuve Clicquot RICH wine are magnified by the presence of chosen ingredients: pineapple, grapefruit zest, cucumber, celery, peppers, or tea – all on the rocks. Alongside Maison oenologists, Veuve Clicquot RICH ROSÉ has been paired with its own complements, to bring out its characteristic red fruit notes: ginger, pineapple, lime, and tea – all on the rocks.
To enjoy Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose, simply chill it well. Serve it on the rocks and you can add some of the suggested complementary ingredients like pineapple, grapefruit zest, cucumber, celery, peppers, or tea for an enhanced flavor experience. For Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose, you can also pair it with ginger, pineapple, lime, and tea on the rocks to bring out its red fruit notes. Just make sure to handle the champagne with care. Don’t shake it too vigorously as it could affect the bubbles. Keep it stored in a cool, dark place to maintain its quality.
