‘Duchesse de Brabant’ Tea Rose Sale Huge Surprise

Produces soft pink very double cupped blooms shaped like tulips from spring to fall. President Theodore Roosevelt helped bring this rose to fame by wearing her buds in his coat buttonhole. Grows 4-6 ft tall

This rose start is grown on its own roots. Propagated in May 2019. Roses are rooted in their trade gallon size pots and ready for their spot of land to take off! Roses range from 6in to a foot tall and are leafed out.

To plant your Duchesse de Brabant Tea Rose, choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole a bit larger than the root ball and gently place the rose in it, covering the roots with soil. Water thoroughly after planting. During the growing season, water regularly, especially in dry spells. Add a layer of mulch around the base to help retain moisture and keep weeds down. Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead or damaged branches and shape the plant. Keep an eye out for common rose pests like aphids and caterpillars.
