Our Hojicha Powder is available in 3 different levels of roasting:
- Medium Roast
- Light Roast
- Dark Roast
Please choose according to taste.
Medium Roast is our most popular blend, with a well-rounded roasted flavour profile, balanced by a nutty aftertaste that recalls notes of milk chocolate.
Light Roast is our most delicate and aromatic blend, made by lightly roasting green tea stems. This blend has an incredibly inviting aroma that reminds us of roasted hazelnuts. It features a mild roasted fragrance with light floral notes and a lingering nutty aftertaste.
Organic Dark Roast is our strongest and boldest Hojicha. In this blend, the strong level of roast has transformed all the more subtle and fresh notes of green tea into dark chocolate and coffee-like flavours. This is also a certified organic tea.
All of these blends are best enjoyed when blended with milk into Hojicha Latte or mixed into cakes and fillings for delicious desserts. Not recommended as a tea.

How to Use: Mix this Hojicha Powder with milk to create a delicious Hojicha Latte or add it to cakes and fillings for yummy desserts. It’s not recommended to use it as a regular tea. Note: After opening, seal the pouch right away and store it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and strong smells. This helps keep the powder fresh for longer. If you want to store it better, consider transferring small amounts to one of our Biophotonic Glass Jars. This reduces how much oxygen the powder is exposed to and can make the tea last longer.
